I’m Lina
I love helping the helpers – teachers, educators, coaches, and young leaders – who are dedicated to and share a deep connection to a non-traditional education.
My aim is to help them reach and connect with parents, families, caregivers, and schools by creating websites that allow them to share the knowledge and tools needed to cultivate a loving and humane education for children, responding to each child’s individual needs with wisdom.
Oh, hey there Educational Leader 👋🏾
I want every child to grow up able to feel but not over-identity or get trapped in strong emotional cycles, make thoughtful choices, and be true to themselves.
Our children are still learning and finding their feet in this world, so more often than not, it comes down to our response as adults to their behavior during challenging moments.
I believe psychologists and educators are the essential bridge in helping parents and caregivers build the foundation of the child’s emotional growth and support children’s development.
In the words of Psychologist Viktor Frankl, “Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space lies our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."
We as humans won’t always choose perfectly, but even in our mistakes, there is potential for growth and the opportunity to foster self-compassion, communication, understanding, and support children with the social-emotional and communication skills they need to manage themselves, resolve conflicts, and develop healthy behaviors so they can live without carrying so many mental burdens.
Before I transitioned into website design, I was a dentist. At the age of 32, I felt something was broken, that I was not in tune with my own needs; I wasn’t listening to my own body. I got lost somewhere along the way. A time I felt a desperate pull to live the life I wanted to live, not the one I was supposed to live.
This path brought me to something magical: to work with an early childhood program, where I had the privilege of working with knowledgeable, kindhearted, and self-aware Educators and Psychologists who would forever change my life.
Working with them opened a new realm of understanding for me, where I embraced the role of a learner and discovered new ways to support my own growth.
While supporting a teacher I deeply admire and am grateful for her friendship, I immersed myself in her wisdom, which was intended for both children and their caregivers. Through this experience, I started to understand the core of my struggles. I began to unlearn old patterns and embrace new approaches to cultivate inner balance, aiming to respond thoughtfully rather than react to everything around me.
Working on personal growth in the last few years has been pivotal and has led to some of the most intense, uncomfortable, and challenging experiences in my life. Yet, these experiences challenged me to be honest with myself and my limitations; they taught me courage, compassion, strength, and resilience. They changed my life and my relationships, and I continue to do so.
It’s been seven years since my 2017 awakening, and I feel different. I feel joyful and real. I've been tackling each day with my daily practices and renewed energy, ready to meet its demands. I've found new ways to show up and adapt to circumstances, and I continue uncovering more blind spots. I'm always learning.
My close work with early childhood educators has provided me with valuable insights into designing website templates that effectively showcase their mission, knowledge, and transformative tools, guiding parents and caregivers to focus on what's biologically age-appropriate and meet children where they are developmentally.
Together, we can communicate to a broader audience and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families. Your content will stand out and speak meaningfully to target audiences.
Let’s promote awareness and education about the importance of healthy growth and development of infants and young children and cultivate a compassionate approach that facilitates an intentional shift in adults’ understanding of child’s behavior, shall we?
I love spending time hiking, walking, and snapping photos of the natural world around me.
